This was a major project at dye precision. I worked with a team of mechanical engineers and electrical engineers.  I started with sketching and foam models. When we had a good proof of concept we moved to SolidWorks and used a 3D printer to make and test prototypes. Eventually, we were able to play paintball with the printed prototypes. This field testing helped identify problems that we might have overlooked. We would then make corrections to the problems we discoved. The final result is one of the best selling and most popular paintball products ever.
